Natalia and Sana's Guppy Argument

  1. I like the use of both the graph and chart. Makes it easier to compare the differences in predators and the bright males.

  2. Your claim was given sufficient evidence and the reasoning was very clear. Good job. The only suggestion I have is that maybe you can include a picture of the map if it is possible.

    1. I agree they should include the map since they included in their claim that it was based on the location of the pools.

  3. The graphs and chart clearly showed the evidence and supported your argument. Well done!

  4. Solid reasoning and justification based on evidence provided. Cloudiness of water could have been added to strengthen argument.

  5. Natural selection did favor the bright male guppies against predators but why did predators decreased from pool 1 to pool 4?
How does the mainstream near the pools affect the population. What were the disadvantages do you think led to to decrease of predators.

    1. The second question was answered in the evidence slide because it talked about how the pools nearest to the mainstream had more predators.

    2. The first question was not part of the assignment so I'm not sure how to answer that since we don't have to explain it.
I'm not really sure what you are asking in the last question...-Yaya
